The Islamic Institute of Current Affairs (IICA) welcomes article proposals from students, graduates, researchers, and professionals engaging with modern political, economic, legal, and social issues.
We aim to cultivate a new generation of Muslim thinkers capable of analysing contemporary affairs with intellectual depth and principled grounding.
If you have an original argument, research insight, or critical analysis, we encourage you to submit a proposal for consideration.
We invite submissions across our Policy Areas, including:
Articles should ideally:
• Present a clear argument or thesis.
• Be grounded in serious research and analysis.
• Engage with current affairs or intellectual debates.
• Reflect a principled Islamic intellectual framework.
Submission Guidelines
• Submissions should be original and unpublished.
• Writers should include sources where relevant.
• The editorial team may suggest revisions before publication.
You do not need to submit a full article initially - a proposal or outline is sufficient.
