Course Overview
The Pioneers Programme is a 2-year online diploma designed to equip ambitious and sincere students with a gateway to Islamic learning, intellectual enhancement and personal development.
This programme is built for students who wish to move beyond short courses and develop a serious, structured foundation in the Islamic sciences. It combines traditional Islamic learning with a disciplined academic approach, providing students with weekly classes, dedicated resources, module exams, recordings and personal development support.
The aim is to nurture a new generation of confident, grounded, and critically thinking Muslims who are able to serve their communities with knowledge, sincerity, and purpose.

Imam Umar Majeed
The programme is divided into two main parts.
Part One: Islamic Fundamentals
Teacher: Imam Umar Majeed
This section focuses on the foundational sciences every serious student of knowledge requires.
Each module runs for 3 months.
Modules:
1. Qur'an
An introduction to the centrality of the Qur’an, its meanings, guidance and role in shaping the Muslim worldview.
2. Seerah
A study of the Prophetic biography, exploring the life, mission, character and example of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.
3. Fiqh
An introduction to Islamic jurisprudence, covering the legal framework through which Muslims understand worship, practice and daily life.
4. Aqidah
A study of Islamic theology, focusing on core beliefs, creed and the intellectual foundations of faith.
5. Tarikh
A study of Islamic history and geopolitics, helping students understand the wider civilisational and historical context of the Ummah.
Part Two: Liberal Arts
Teacher: Shaykh Mubeen Raza
This section gives students access to the classical tools required to engage with Islamic texts and scholarship at a deeper level.
Each module runs for 3 months.
Modules:
1. Nahw
Arabic grammar, enabling students to understand the structure and meaning of Arabic sentences.
3. Mantiq
Classical logic, developing disciplined reasoning, argumentation and clarity of thought.
2. Sarf
Arabic morphology, focusing on word patterns, roots and how meanings are formed in the Arabic language.
4. Balagha
Classical rhetoric, exploring eloquence, expression and the deeper literary dimensions of Arabic.

Eligibility
This programme is open to:

Graduates of the Path to Knowing Intensive Course;

or students who have received an endorsement from a recognised Islamic institute or seminary.
Course Fees
The course fee is £30 per month with the early bird discount.
Complete and partial bursaries are also available for eligible students.
